The print workshop with a view
Trykk i Sanntid (PRINT IN REAL TIME) started at the newly opened printmaking studio KK-trykk at KUNSTKVARTERET LOFOTEN Artist residency and studios at Leknes, in the middle in Lofoten in north of Norway.

Kjellaug Hatlen Lunde
happened to meet through the artist residency where Kjellaug is one of the local artists in the house, and created
the print workshop KK-trykk, Åse came as a resident artist and Rita from Bergen has her summerhouse nearby.
Where did it all start?

Printmaking is well known as great tradition of particular handicraft with focus on skills, materials, spesialized tools, special chemicals, heavy machinery and presses - and proudness of knowing all this.
Printmaking in our times is also ias in all contemporary art very much turning into environmental and sustainable thinking. Less poison, less damaging of nature. More experimenting - but still knowing how to deal with the material joys and toys.
